An Efficient Asset Management System Helps User Satisfaction

Puri is a famous pilgrimage town on the eastern coastline of India known for, Lord Jagannath and Ratha Yatra. Millions of devotees and tourists visit throughout the year.

Recently the district administration added the golden beach as one of the tourist’s attractions.  It has gained much attention for its modern conveniences and infrastructure, and has rallied up high expectations for tourists.

The Golden Beach was one of Asia’s first beaches to be awarded with Blue Flag Certification on 21st October 2020 which is managed by the Beach Management Committee. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and the Government of India developed the infrastructure of the beach area and also focused on reducing the pollution, and safety of the beach. The committee realized that the assets deteriorate quickly due to the corrosive saline climate and saw the need to do the same as a result of its experience managing things in Puri.

So, while establishing the Feedback Management System at the beach in compliance with the Blue Flag Certification; the Beach Management Committee recognized the necessity of asset management for proper use, infrastructure maintenance and timely repair while sustaining the environment around and the life under sea.

The emergence of several new ideologies and technology has changed the dynamics.

BMC has recognized that nothing can be sustained unless the Real Estate, Assets, and Human Resources are managed to address the ever emerging concerns. These three cornerstones are what hold up the framework for that organization to achieve its goals.

Asset management is a methodical strategy for efficiently procuring, maintaining, upgrading, and removing organizational assets in a cost-effective way.  As a result, asset delivery potential is increased while costs are reduced.

Coastal regions experience the cyclical effects of erratic weather patterns. The saline water and continuous threat of disasters are always a possibility. Infrastructure will inevitably deteriorate in these regions over time because of their volatile surroundings. An organization should be capable of handling customer feedback if it is equipped to deal with any uncertainty, changes, or environmental issues. Feedback must be viewed as an essential component of the process as it supports the organization and its operations. As long as the management is willing to accept, adopting technology properly to gather feedback will aid in offering a rapid and effective reaction.

That’s where Resolve comes into the equation. Resolve is an integrated ICT platform for Stakeholder Engagement and Service Performance Measurement to achieve the purpose of Asset Sustainability and User Satisfaction. Simply put, it is an intelligent tool to track tasks in the organization of daily events that prevents estates and human resources from deteriorating.
